The Alliance Française de Washington DC serves as the French Language and Cultural Center in DC. It is habilitated as an official exam center by France Education International as well as the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Paris to hold exams for the following diplomas: DELF/DALF and the following certifications: TCF and TEF in all their variants.
Demand for certifications to immigrate to French-speaking countries of for French long-stay visas or French citizenship has grown exponentially in the last year.
The Alliance Française de Washington DC is now recruiting a small team of hourly exam proctors for French language certifications.
➡️ Key responsibilities
As an exam proctor, you will receive a small training with clear instructions and guidance about your role. Your main responsibility will be to supervise candidates taking French computer-based tests and ensure that no attempts at cheating occur during the exams.
You’ll be asked to welcome students into the exam room, introduce the exam in French, respond to candidates’ questions, ensure the computers are working properly, and oversee the smooth running of the testing session. You will work in collaboration with the Certifications and Private classes Coordinator and the Education Administrative Assistant.
