    JOB OPENING

PART-TIME BAY AREA SMALL BUSINESS ORGANIZER

    March 2026

One Fair Wage is a national organization of service workers and restaurant owners seeking to

raise the minimum wage closer to the cost of living and an end to all subminimum wages. We

work to advance local, state and federal policy by educating policymakers, press and the public

on the need for One Fair Wage and by: mobilizing low-wage worker voters in support of One

Fair Wage; engaging ‘high road’ employers and conscientious consumers in support of One Fair

Wage, and create consequences for ‘low road’ actors on the issue; and producing research,

books, films and television to help shift the narrative on these issues.

Through our RAISE (Restaurants Advancing Industry Standards in Employment) network, we

have partnered with more than 1000 responsible restaurant owners across the country to

promote the ‘high road’ to profitability. RAISE is a vibrant community of restaurants committed

to professionalizing our industry by raising wages, working conditions and standards for

American’s 13.6 million restaurant workers. RAISE members advocate for fair wages, better

benefits, racial equity and gender equity in the restaurant industry. WiIthin RAISE, we have

launched the High Road Kitchens program, to provide support, training, technical assistance
