    BACKGROUND

CORE Group fosters collaborative action and learning to improve and expand community-focused public health practices. Established in 1997 in Washington D.C., CORE Group is an independent not-for- profit hybrid, membership organization, and home of the International Community Health Network, which brings together over 20,000 global health practitioners- CORE Group member organizations, scholars, advocates, and donors to support the global health of underserved women, children, adolescents, and communities around the world.

    SCOPE OF WORK

This consultancy contract will work remotely with CORE Group on ZIP, Gavi’s Humanitarian Partnerships. ZIP aims to establish full immunisation programming for children 0 to 5 years in conflict and crisis settings. Around the world, millions of children remain functionally invisible to health systems, missing out on life saving vaccines as a consequence. ZIP funds humanitarian non-governmental implementing partners (NGOs) who pioneer new approaches to full immunization for children living in humanitarian and crisis settings or within populations at-risk. ZIP invests in learning how to reach and fully vaccinate children in communities who would otherwise not benefit from Gavi programming. ZIP has two current awards to humanitarian partners that implement ZIP in countries in Cameroon and throughout the Horn of Africa. CORE Group supports ZIP in the areas of learning, knowledge management, communications and advocacy.

The CORE Group is seeking a part-time Data Analysis Consultant to support ongoing data management and analysis. This role is ideal for an early-career professional with strong Excel and data visualization skills, who can provide reliable monthly and quarterly support to maintain existing monitoring tools and assist with ad hoc analyses.

    Initial Onboarding (August 2025)

    • Participate in onboarding and training sessions with the ZIP team
    • Review key program documents, data tools (Excel, PowerPoint), and the program SharePoint site

    PowerBI dashboard (September 2025)

    • Develop a PowerBI dashboard for internal monitoring of quarterly data
    • Meet with CORE Group to review, revise, and finalize dashboard
    • Establish a systematic repeatable process to update the dashboard with new quarterly data going forward

Monthly Responsibilities (To be completed by the 5th of each month)

    • Receive, clean, and manage monthly Key Performance Indicator (KPI) data submitted by ZIP grantees
    • Update pre-programmed Excel tracking tools
    • Update visuals and content in two PowerPoint slide decks: 1) ZIP Monthly Dashboard and 2) KPI Target Tracking Tool

Quarterly Responsibilities (To be completed by August 30th, November 15th, and February 15th)

    • Manage and clean quarterly data submissions from grantees
    • Update Excel-based tools and a PowerBI dashboard
    • Support the ZIP team in running descriptive analyses, as needed

    Additional Activities (As Needed)

    • Conduct additional data cleaning and descriptive analysis using Excel
    • Create charts and graphics for internal presentations and reporting

    Timeline and Pay Rate:

    • This consultancy will begin in August 2025 and end on February 15, 2026, with the possibility of extension beyond February 2026, pending continuation of funding to implementing partners.
    • The pay rate for this role is $50.00 hour, with a maximum of 16 hours per month. Additional hours may be added with preapproval by the CORE Group team.
    • The PowerBI dashboard is to be completed by September 30, 2025.
    • Monthly deliverables are to be completed between the 1st and the 5th of each month (after data is submitted by grantees).
    • Quarterly deliverables are to be completed by August 30th, November 15th, and early February 15th.
