Social Worker for NJ Pediatric Cancer Families - Part Time Per Diem - License Required

ECF is seeking compassionate licensed professionals to serve as Caseworkers, supporting families whose child has been diagnosed with pediatric cancer.

Caseworkers provide in-home and virtual emotional counseling and advocacy, helping families navigate resources, services, and the challenges that come with a child’s illness. Candidates must reside in New Jersey and live within reasonable proximity to the counties they wish to serve. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling Psychology, Marriage & Family Therapy, or related field
• Licensed to practice in New Jersey (LAC, LSW, LMFT or similar)
• Experience working with children and families
• Knowledge of, or ability to learn, community resources
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and computer skills
• Ability to build collaborative relationships with provider agencies and helping professionals
• Valid Driver’s License

Experience supporting families dealing with medical or health-related challenges is preferred.

Position Details
