Stanford Settlement Neighborhood Center is currently accepting applications for a full-time Teen Center Social Worker to work with youth aged 11-17 years. Founded in 1936, Stanford Settlement is a private, nonprofit social service agency serving residents of the north area of Sacramento.
Our Teen Center program fosters resilience by increasing protective factors through the group process, along with supportive social services for youth and their families.
Job responsibilities:
Qualified applicants will have a Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, experience working with at-risk children and teens, and a willingness to learn about the social group work method and the settlement house concept.
A valid California Driver's License is required, along with one's own automobile and insurance.
This position is full-time at 40 hours per week, and the rate of pay is $20 per hour, plus medical benefits and paid time off.
We offer two health insurance plans at no cost to employees; the agency pays 100%.
Employees receive four weeks of paid vacation annually, along with paid holidays, sick leave, and floating holidays.
