Love being the behind-the-scenes hero who makes everything click?
Join our small but mighty team of four who are passionate about empowering the next generation of communication sciences and disorders professionals. We're crafty, scrappy, and nimble when it comes to delivering our best to our members. We're looking for a Part Time Admin Assistant who thrives on organization, problem-solving, and creating seamless experiences for over 10,000 National NSSLHA members.
Every day you will:
- Be the first friendly voice students hear when they need help — turning confusion into clarity and frustration into "thank you so much!"
- Create the systems and processes that make everyone's life easier (because good organization is basically magic)
- Support exciting projects from ASHA Convention logistics to member renewals to data dashboards that keep our community thriving
To thrive in this role, you need to:
- Have 1-3 years of administrative experience with a track record of juggling multiple priorities like a pro
- Bring strong tech skills (Microsoft Office, Google Suite, CRM databases) and the curiosity to learn new tools
- Love solving problems creatively and take pride in getting the details right
- Communicate warmly and clearly, whether you're composing an email or answering a worried student's call
You'll be joining a mission-driven organization that gets it. We believe that exceptional administrative support creates ripple effects — when systems work smoothly, students can access opportunities faster, chapters run better, and everyone wins. We're a team that celebrates both the big victories and the small wins, appreciates a well-organized spreadsheet as much as a successful event, and knows that the "little things" make a huge difference in students' lives.
