This role offers significant ownership, visibility, and the opportunity to demonstrate how Housing Connector scales market by market.

The ideal candidate is entrepreneurial, action-oriented, and energized by building programs and relationships from the ground up. They are comfortable navigating ambiguity, balancing multiple priorities, and leading teams while driving measurable outcomes.

Success in this role is measured by housing outcomes, partner experience, and overall market performance. This role requires experience applying an equity or social impact lens to real-world execution, where decisions directly affect people and communities.

    Key Responsibilities

The responsibilities below represent the core functions of the role and are not intended to be exhaustive.

    • Identify and develop new partnership opportunities across public and private sectors to expand local impact.
    • Own the overall health and performance of the market, balancing growth, partner experience, and measurable housing outcomes.
    • Hold clear accountability for market-level results and continuously improve local operations to ensure consistent, high-quality delivery of Housing Connector’s model.

    Strategy Execution & Partnership Development

    • Partner with the Regional Managing Director to design and execute scalable, market-specific strategies that:
      • Deepen engagement with community and government partners
      • Expand client stability supports
      • Increase active unit utilization across the partner property portfolio
    • Build and manage strategic, long-term relationships with housing providers, community organizations, and key stakeholders.
    • Lead the end-to-end community partnership experience, translating strong partner engagement into sustained referral volume and successful placements.

    Stakeholder & Customer Experience Leadership

    • Deliver an outstanding experience for property, community, and government partners by proactively addressing operational challenges and ensuring timely, effective resolution.
    • Serve as a trusted point of contact and relationship owner within the local housing ecosystem.

    Cross-Functional Collaboration & Infrastructure

    • Work cross-functionally with Product, Property Growth, and Regional teams to identify, implement, and iterate on tools, processes, and infrastructure that improve efficiency and client outcomes.

    People Leadership

    • Manage and develop the local team, providing coaching, direction, and performance support aligned with market goals.

This is an execution- and operations-focused role centered on housing outcomes, partner performance, and local team leadership.

    Skills & Qualifications

    • Experience leading market-level, program, or community operations with clear accountability for service delivery and outcomes (e.g., startups, tech-enabled services, multi-site organizations, or complex ecosystems).
    • Demonstrated experience delivering operational outcomes in social impact, public service, or community-based contexts, particularly in environments with complex stakeholder dynamics.
    • Demonstrated ability to execute strategy in the field, manage day-to-day operational complexity, and solve problems while navigating ambiguity, limited structure, and competing priorities.
    • Experience managing external partners in ongoing operational relationships, including setting expectations, resolving issues, and maintaining performance over time.
    • Proven track record of owning results such as service delivery, utilization, placements, or operational performance.
    • Experience leading and developing teams responsible for delivering services or outcomes, including performance management and prioritization.
    • Ability to assess what is working, what is not, and make adjustments quickly based on data, observation, and feedback.
    • Strong judgment and follow-through in complex, real-world environments where decisions have direct impact on people.
    • Knowledge of the local community and ability to build credibility with key stakeholders.
    • Spanish language proficiency required for effective communication with partners, tenants, and community stakeholders.
    • Valid driver’s license and insurance.
