POSITION SUMMARY:
The American Council on Education (ACE) is the major coordinating body for the nation's colleges and universities. ACE is a membership organization that mobilizes the higher education community to shape effective public policy and foster innovative, high-quality practices. With a diverse base of member institutions, ACE represents nearly 1,700 college and university presidents and executives, serving as the only major higher education association to represent all types of U.S. accredited, degree-granting institutions. ACE's mission includes serving 280 minority serving institutions, 25,000 higher education professionals, and 7.7 million students enrolled in colleges and universities. ACE membership extends to all 50 states, Washington DC, Puerto Rico, Guam, and 21 other countries.
Research leads ACE’s research, programs, communities, and innovation activities while interacting with more than 900 universities and 2 million learners each year. It works with ACE members and member communities as partners in shaping the future of higher education. One Dupont Ventures (ODV) is a pioneering unit operating within Research. ODV is dedicated to advancing innovation and entrepreneurship in alignment with ACE’s mission, focusing on creating spaces for innovation and fostering collaboration between institutions and employers to enhance economic mobility.
Learning Evaluations (LE) is a national leader in recognizing and validating learning and competencies to connect post-traditional students, training providers and universities. The Specialist, Evaluations, is responsible for overseeing all preparation functions for evaluation reviews including client services, faculty recruitment, operations, and logistics. The Specialist collaborates with the Senior Specialist to ensure review readiness, review execution and post-review processes are complete. This role works closely with the entire LE team to improve the review experience and support evaluation efforts for many of our workforce training organizations.

This is a remote position within the United States only. Must be authorized to work in the United States (unfortunately, we cannot provide visa sponsorship.) 35 hours a week. Eligible states for remote work at ACE include the following:
