    Descripción

The Director of Program is laser focused on ensuring - through great project management and relationship building - that we can democratize rev gen knowledge garnered through that work for the movement. This role will be working with our grantee and learning community partners - supporting these groups with training and unmatched strategic support through their revenue generation project implementations and their IRG experiments.

    Required Skills

    • Deep knowledge of the progressive sector and all types of fundraising. Maybe you’ve been a development director, or an online fundraising manager or a program director. Maybe you’ve been a consultant or account person at an agency that serves nonprofits. We acknowledge that there are many ways to learn about the progressive movement and its revenue generation needs! But at the end of the day, you’re an expert fundraiser with a deep commitment to justice and a keen appreciation for what independent revenue generation can do for a group’s ability to accomplish its mission through readiness, agility, scale, sustainability and accountability.
    • A willingness to apply your strong fundraising background in ways that break new ground in revenue generation, and work on projects that require unconventional thinking to realize revenue streams.
    • Desire to be an authentic movement partner and ally to the groups Progressive Multiplier serves. Become an expert in their rev gen needs and an avid storyteller about those needs and what happens for the movement when they are met.
    • Proficiency with general computer software including Google Suite, Zoom, etc. When we say proficiency, we mean you can use Google Suite products efficiently or you are willing to proactively identify places you can’t and be trained on them.
    • Comfortable working with AI, databases and CRMs. Or a willingness to say you don’t know, and get trained.
    • Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
    • There is not a set number of years of experience required for this position. This is about having enough exposure to the depth and breadth of revenue generation and what it can do for groups, not how many years you’ve worked.
    • Crucial to your success is the willingness to say, “I don’t know, but I can find out.” And then finding out so you’re learning something new well enough to share it. We lean in, and we lean on. This job requires you to be comfortable asking a lot of questions.

    • Create revenue generation tools for cohort use and publication within The Convergence.

      • Support Catalyst grantees in implementing IRG fundamentals
      • Support Lab grantees in novel, innovative experimentation in independent revenue generation
    • Maintain subject matter expertise deep and current enough to serve as a strategic advisor on all grantee projects and experiments.
    • Conduct onboarding through final report preparation.
      • After grantees are onboarded to their grant engagement, meet with grantees monthly to discuss progress, offer advice based on data and continually manage the project to its mutually agreed upon KPIs.
      • Keep grantee project artifacts, HubSpot company/contact/deal records up to date at all times on the PM side (following the approved SOP).
    • Help your Teammates democratize IRG knowledge for the movement
      • Make sure that understanding of the grantee partner work and needs are available to the Team through our use of integrated data systems.
      • Work with Teammates to keep data sets and case studies up-to-date and referenceable at all times.
      • Identify impact stories to use in fundraising and mass communications, then work to help Learning & Impact colleagues share those stories far and wide.
    • Seek out and participate in industry associations, learning communities and events so that you and PM are active participants in the progressive movement’s capacity building ecosystem
