Title: Family Resource Coordinator
Reporting to: Kinship Navigation Manager
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt (Salaried)
Hours: Full-Time
Hiring Range: $35,000-42,000, depending on education and experience
Work Week: Monday 12:00 am to Sunday 11:59 pm (agency work week for payroll)
Work Location: Remote-first, hybrid environment with an admin hub in North Charleston, South Carolina
Frequency in Person: This position is expected to report in-person to the admin hub 1-4 times per month.
Travel & Drive Time: This position requires community-based “in the field” work; approximately 35-50% of each week will be spent traveling locally/regionally. No routine out-of-state or multi-day travel is projected. HALOS will verify driving records and driver’s license at least annually.

Organizational Background
HALOS, founded in 1997 and incorporated in 2003, equips kinship caregivers for success, provides resources that support safe and thriving children, and advocates for a kin-first South Carolina. HALOS is a growing nonprofit, providing services regionally in the Lowcountry. HALOS meets the needs of kinship families through specialized navigation services, intensive coaching services, and an array of supportive services such as support groups and access to concrete items such as school supplies, holiday gifts, beds, and much more.
Position Summary
The Family Resource Coordinator is the initial point of contact for kinship families seeking specialized services through HALOS. This position conducts assessments, schedules intakes, and coordinates resources for caregivers and families to support stability, safety and well-being.
