    Descripción

    The Grants and Database Manager will report directly to the Director of Development and play an integral role in strengthening SnapCo’s grants management infrastructure and overall development systems. This position will lead the maintenance of our grants calendar, ensure timely submission of proposals and reports, and oversee accurate tracking of institutional funding and capital campaign commitments.

    The Grants and Database Manager will also be responsible for maintaining and improving SnapCo’s donor database, supporting the selection and implementation of a new CRM system, and building internal systems that increase transparency and long term sustainability. This role combines strong systems thinking, attention to detail, and strategic project management to ensure our fundraising operations, including our capital campaign and major events, are organized and aligned with organizational growth.

    Key Responsibilities

    Grants Management and Reporting

    • Maintain and manage a comprehensive grants calendar to track deadlines, reporting requirements, deliverables, renewals, and multi year commitments.
    • Coordinate the preparation, submission, and tracking of grant proposals and reports in partnership with the Director of Development, Executive Director, and program staff.
    • Develop and strengthen internal systems to ensure timely and accurate reporting to institutional funders.

    Capital Campaign Strategy and Tracking

    • Identify and research prospective institutional, corporate, and individual donors for SnapCo’s capital campaign.
    • Support prospect cultivation by ensuring accurate documentation of outreach, meetings, and stewardship touch points within the CRM.
    • Assist in preparing campaign updates, internal dashboards, and board facing materials that reflect campaign momentum and impact.

    Event Sponsorship and Institutional Support

    • Identify and research potential corporate and institutional sponsors for SnapCo’s bi annual gala and For Colored’s Only Party.
    • Prepare and submit sponsorship requests, proposals, and supporting materials for event partners.
    • Track sponsorship outreach, commitments, and benefits fulfillment within the CRM and shared systems.

    Database and CRM Management

    • Oversee the maintenance, accuracy, and integrity of SnapCo’s donor database, including institutional funders, individual donors, members, sponsors, and campaign prospects.
    • Lead the research, selection, and implementation of a new CRM system in collaboration with leadership and key staff.
    • Develop internal workflows, data entry standards, and documentation protocols to strengthen organizational data practices.
    • Train staff as needed on CRM usage and reporting tools to ensure adoption and consistency. •Generate regular development reports, dashboards, and data summaries to inform fundraising strategy, capital campaign planning, sponsorship tracking, and board engagement.

    Development Operations and Systems

    • Maintain systems that track fundraising progress toward annual, campaign, and multi year revenue goals.
    • Support institutional and major donor cultivation by ensuring accurate records of communications and engagement history.
    • Assist in preparing development materials, institutional profiles, and supporting documentation as needed.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree preferred.

    • At least two to three years of experience in nonprofit grants management, development operations, database administration, capital campaign support, or sponsorship development.

    • Demonstrated experience maintaining grants calendars and managing reporting timelines.

    • Experience conducting donor or sponsor prospect research.

    • Experience working with CRM systems and leading or supporting database transitions or implementations preferred.

    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

    • High attention to detail and commitment to data integrity.

    • Commitment to SnapCo’s mission, values, and Black trans and queer liberation.

    Compensación

    This position is full-time and exempt. Compensation will be within the range of $60,000 to $70,000 and will be based on experience. SnapCo offers full health coverage, paid time off, and professional development opportunities.
