Community Program Driver (Part-Time/Full-Time)

Are you a skilled and safety-conscious driver with a passion for community impact? The Halo Food Project is looking for a reliable, diligent, and honest Driver to join our mission of delivering healthy food and clean tech solutions across Los Angeles.

We’re seeking someone with intermediate to advanced truck driving skills who can operate with care, precision, and professionalism. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a team environment, values punctuality, and takes pride in their work.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely transport foods to various community sites and partners
• Load and unload goods from our small warehouse with care and efficiency
• Maintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of the vehicle
• Communicate clearly with team members and site contacts
• Follow delivery schedules and routes with accuracy
• Work effectively with a team.

Requirements

• Valid CDL driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Proven experience with truck or van driving (box truck experience a plus)
• Strong attention to detail and safety
• Excellent time management and communication skills
• Must be reliable, honest, and a team player

Position Details

• Independent contractor role (1099)
• Flexible schedule: 20–30 hours/week
• Pay range: $23–$28 per hour, based on experience
