Studio in a School seeks an experienced, enthusiastic, empathetic and collaborative arts educator/administrator to join our program team as the Manager, Residency Programs (Full-time temporary replacement with potential to become permanent). The Manager will coordinate, oversee, and support visual art instruction delivered by professional Artist Instructors in public schools and community-based organizations throughout New York City. The Manager will join a passionate, talented team in a dynamic and well-respected art education organization, while taking initiatives in implementing a diverse portfolio of residency programs.
The Temporary Manager is expected to work from late March to late June 2026, and will report to the Associate Director of Residency Programs. This position is temporary and full-time, and supervises a team of Artist Instructors, and possibly one Program Coordinator. Part-time inquiries are welcome.

Location
We are currently working on a hybrid schedule. The Temporary Manager will be asked to work at least 2 days per week in our office at 75 West End Avenue, New York, NY, or in the field, though this schedule may shift and evolve.

Salary
The annual salary for this temporary full-time position is $75,000-$79,000 and will be prorated based on the length of service needed. Part-time inquiries are welcome.
