    Salary Range:

    $65,000 - $72,000 annually

    Organization Description:

    Founded in 1988 by Paul Newman, The Hole in the Wall Gang Camp provides "a different kind of healing" to thousands of children with serious illnesses and their families annually - all completely free of charge. For many of these children and families, Hole in the Wall provides multiple Camp experiences throughout the year at the facility in Ashford, Conn, in dozens of hospitals and clinics, directly in camper homes and communities and through other outreach activities across the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic.

    Position Description:

    Reporting to the Director of Annual Giving & Donor Relations, the Leadership Annual Giving Manager is responsible for implementing strategies to grow unrestricted giving to The Hole in the Wall Gang Camp among donors capable of giving $1,000 to $10,000 annually.

    Our Leadership Annual Giving Manager can expect to...

    • Actively cultivate, solicit, and steward a portfolio of leadership annual giving donors capable of making unrestricted gifts of $1,000 to $10,000 annually.
    • Engage donors directly through personalized communications, outreach, and visits that deepen their relationship with Hole in the Wall.
    • In partnership with Director of Annual Giving & Donor Relations, develop the strategy to manage and grow the monthly giving program with strategies that build community, inspire increased giving from existing supporters, and attract new supporters.
    • Collaborate with the Development Operations team to cultivate a pipeline of new leadership annual giving donors, both in the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic.
    • In partnership with the Associate Director of Donor Relations, implement a meaningful, personalized stewardship plan for leadership annual giving donors.
    • Utilize special events and other Camp activities to build relationships with prospects while cultivating existing relationships.
    • Coordinate and lead donor visits and Camp tours.
    • Record actions in Raiser's Edge, including the filing of contact reports, actions and opportunities, to ensure continuity and integrity of donor records.
    • In partnership with the Major & Planned Gifts team, develop strategy to grow planned gifts from monthly and leadership annual donors.
    • Maintain knowledge of fundraising trends and best practices to inform ongoing fundraising efforts. Re-certify annually in Raiser's Edge NXT.
    • Perform other duties and support other projects as assigned.

    Our Leadership Annual Giving Manager should have...

    • 3+ years of fundraising experience.
    • The ability to establish positive relationships with a variety of people in multicultural environments.
    • A knowledge and understanding of fundraising strategies, trends and best practices.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Raiser's Edge software.
    • Excellent interpersonal, organizational and written/oral communication skills.
    • The ability and willingness to travel to meet with donors.
    • The ability to work extended hours, including evenings and weekends, in support of development and Camp events.
    • A valid driver's license and driving record meeting THITWGC insurance carrier requirements. Ability to travel to assigned worksites.
    • The ability to operate a computer for most of the workday with appropriate rest periods.
