Hudson Highlands Fjord Trail is looking to contract a Hudson Valley or NY tri-state-area-based social media pro to help share our non-profit’s mission and engage people with the Fjord Trail vision!
What is the Hudson Highlands Fjord Trail?
The Fjord Trail is a new park/trail currently being built about 50 miles north of NYC! When complete, 7.5 walkable, bikeable, rollable miles of trail will make experiencing the Hudson River and Highlands more accessible to folks of all ages, people using mobility aids, community members and visitors arriving by public transit, and beyond. Who we’re hoping to find:
We’re seeking an experienced local social media professional to take on strategy, analytics, content creation, and day-to-day management of our social media presence. Looking for someone who has at least 3 years of strategy development experience, strong knowledge of current and evolving platform conditions, and excellent graphic design skills.

Details:
Estimated time commitment is 15-20 hours per week for a 12-month contract. Hybrid remote, as our Social Media Specialist will join our weekly in-person staff meeting to be read-in on everything we have going on. We are open to proposals from anyone within commutable distance—NY, NJ, CT. Budget is $30K annually/$2500 per month.
