Part-Time Community Outreach and Marketing Coordinator
Restore Native Plants is an innovative nonprofit foundation focused on restoring the region’s native plant and animal species – many of which have become threatened and endangered. The foundation manages 216 acres of wildland in the New Jersey Highlands and has planted 71,739 native plants and removed 719,774 invasive plants since 2013.
The Community Outreach and Marketing Coordinator provides essential administrative support to the foundation director and founder in coordinating volunteer management and marketing communication. Volunteer management includes outreach, recruiting, event communication, and general program administration. Marketing communication includes primarily website maintenance and social media, with occasional creation of print communications such as signs, banners, and flyers. The coordinator will work directly with Restore Native Plant’s leadership team to ensure volunteer engagement and marketing communications support the foundation’s mission.
This position is part-time for approximately 15-20 hours per week; $16.50 to $18 an hour, starting salary.

This position is based at Restore Native Plants headquarters located within Ramapo Mountain State Forest in Oakland, NJ, although individuals may work remotely if appropriate.
