This Role Requires Both Skill and Urgency
We are looking for reliable, fast-paced cooks who take pride in their work, can keep up in a high-volume breakfast service, and care about our mission.
We are building flexibility so we can support each other in real time. No one is stuck in one lane. We move where needed, and we are all cross-trained in both the kitchen and dining room.
What You Will Do
- Prepare and cook breakfast items during service
- Follow menus and recipes for consistency and efficiency
- Keep up with a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen
- Clean as you go and maintain an organized workstation
- Support kitchen flow and assist with prep as needed
Schedule
- Monday to Friday, 4:30 AM to 9:00 AM
- Optional additional prep hours may be available
Important
This is a high-volume, fast-paced kitchen. There is constant movement and no downtime during service. This role requires speed, focus, and the ability to keep up with demand.
This is an active, hands-on role. Team members are expected to stay engaged, move efficiently, and contribute throughout the entire shift.
What We Are Looking For
- Experience in line cooking or breakfast service preferred
- Ability to work quickly, multitask, and stay organized under pressure
- Reliable and on time. Early mornings are essential
- Team-oriented and willing to help where needed
- Strong work ethic and pride in maintaining a clean kitchen and quality food
Food Safety
- Food Handler Certification preferred or willingness to obtain
- ServSafe Food Manager Certification a plus
Compensation
- $18 to $19 per hour based on experience
- Temp-to-hire and per diem opportunities available
- Seeking multiple cooks to share coverage across the week
