Partners for HOME is seeking a Housing Intern to support the Housing team in managing administrative and data projects, including auditing, compliance and enrollments. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in mezzo level Social Work, administrative duties, attention to detail, and a desire to learn and grow in a dynamic, mission-driven environment. This is a part-time internship offering valuable experience and exposure to nonprofit social work practices such as organization work, policy and advocacy.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in data entry
- Audit current records for compliance
- Reconcile Haven voucher holders in HMIS
- Update HMIS enrollments for Haven voucher program
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Currently pursuing a Master degree in Social Work
- Strong interest in nonprofit mezzo level Social Work
- Basic understanding administrative reporting and data entry
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Smart Sheets
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and eagerness to learn
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous internship or volunteer experience in Social Work
- Knowledge of nonprofit regulations and practices (preferred but not required)
