    Summer Internship at Phoenix House | Make an Impact While You Learn

    Looking for a summer experience that actually matters? Join Phoenix House and work alongside a passionate, mission-driven team dedicated to helping individuals in recovery and those seeking mental health support rebuild their lives.

    This isn’t your typical internship—you won’t just observe, you’ll contribute. From day one, you’ll be part of meaningful projects that support real people and real communities.

    What You’ll Gain:

    What You’ll Do:

    • Support assigned department (e.g., clinical operations, administration, HR, or program services) with day-to-day activities and strategic initiatives
    • Assist in the coordination and execution of projects related to substance use treatment, recovery services, and organizational operations
    • Conduct research and analysis on topics such as public health trends, patient outcomes, and program effectiveness
    • Collect, organize, and analyze data to support decision-making and continuous improvement efforts
    • Participate in team meetings, case discussions (as appropriate), and cross-functional collaboration sessions
    • Shadow senior leaders and staff to gain insight into healthcare management, program delivery, and organizational strategy
    • Assist with administrative tasks including documentation, reporting, scheduling, and maintaining program records
    • Support quality improvement initiatives by identifying areas for enhanced service delivery and operational efficiency
    • Contribute to the development of presentations, reports, and materials for internal and external stakeholders
    • Complete a capstone project aligned with departmental goals and present findings to senior leadership at the end of the internship

    Internship Details:

    • Duration: 10 weeks (June 1, 2026 – August 10, 2026)
    • Compensation: $21.00/hour
    • Schedule: Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
    • Commitment: Full participation required (no vacation time during the program)

    Requirements:

    • Current student or recent graduate (high school or college)
    • Minimum GPA of 2.80 (on a 4.0 scale)
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills
    • Eagerness to learn and contribute across departments
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
    • Ability to multitask.
    • Cope well under pressure.
