What You’ll Do:
- Support assigned department (e.g., clinical operations, administration, HR, or program services) with day-to-day activities and strategic initiatives
- Assist in the coordination and execution of projects related to substance use treatment, recovery services, and organizational operations
- Conduct research and analysis on topics such as public health trends, patient outcomes, and program effectiveness
- Collect, organize, and analyze data to support decision-making and continuous improvement efforts
- Participate in team meetings, case discussions (as appropriate), and cross-functional collaboration sessions
- Shadow senior leaders and staff to gain insight into healthcare management, program delivery, and organizational strategy
- Assist with administrative tasks including documentation, reporting, scheduling, and maintaining program records
- Support quality improvement initiatives by identifying areas for enhanced service delivery and operational efficiency
- Contribute to the development of presentations, reports, and materials for internal and external stakeholders
- Complete a capstone project aligned with departmental goals and present findings to senior leadership at the end of the internship
Internship Details:
- Duration: 10 weeks (June 1, 2026 – August 10, 2026)
- Compensation: $21.00/hour
- Schedule: Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Commitment: Full participation required (no vacation time during the program)
Requirements:
- Current student or recent graduate (high school or college)
- Minimum GPA of 2.80 (on a 4.0 scale)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Eagerness to learn and contribute across departments
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Ability to multitask.
- Cope well under pressure.
