Overview:
This internship provides undergraduate students with hands-on experience in the day-to-day operations of a nonprofit organization that blends equine-assisted services with regenerative farming practices. Interns will gain exposure to nonprofit management, community engagement, program coordination, and sustainable agriculture while contributing to a mission-driven organization focused on education, inclusion, and environmental stewardship.

- Understand the core functions of a nonprofit organization, including program development, fundraising, community partnerships, and volunteer coordination.

- Develop an appreciation for the role of equine-assisted services and regenerative agriculture in supporting health, education, and community well-being.

Responsibilities:
Interns may assist with:
- Program Support: Helping with scheduling, lesson preparation, participant intake, and documentation of equestrian and farm-based programs.
- Farm & Facility Operations: Supporting seasonal farm tasks, assisting with garden and soil health initiatives, and learning about regenerative agricultural practices.
- Community Engagement: Assisting in outreach efforts, preparing educational materials, and supporting events such as workshops and fundraisers.
- Nonprofit Administration: Learning the fundamentals of budgeting, grant reporting, donor relations, and communication strategies.
- Marketing & Outreach: Contributing to social media content, newsletters, and community updates to highlight the farm’s mission and impact.
Experience Gained:
By the end of the internship, students will have a well-rounded understanding of how a nonprofit operates, balancing administrative responsibilities with hands-on programming. Interns will develop practical skills in project management, nonprofit operations, and community service while making a meaningful contribution to the mission of Good Hope Equestrian & Regenerative Farm.
