    POSITION SUMMARY

    The Grants Management Intern will support the Grants Management and Housing & Homelessness teams within the Philanthropies Department. In this role, the intern will learn how to use the Fluxx grants management system, will engage in data cleaning associated with the upcoming “Grantelligence” integration, and will provide support on a diverse array of data-focused projects for both teams.

    Hours Per Week: 28 Hours |Monday - Thursday| Pay Rate: $20 an hour

    To be considered you must be a student enrolled in an undergraduate program. The Internship will run from June 1st - July 31st, 2026.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Gain a solid understanding of the Fluxx grants management system, including Grantelligence, our coding process and underlying grants taxonomy, and the various quantitative and qualitative data currently captured in Fluxx.
    • Support ongoing data cleaning and data visualization efforts, in close coordination with the Senior Director of Strategic Learning & Evaluation, and the Grants Management Systems Administrator.
    • Provide support to data-related projects for the Housing & Homelessness team, including (but not limited to) quarterly grant reviews, mission investing reporting, and information gathering and analysis to inform the October Grants Committee meeting.
    • Provide assistance as needed on other projects that arise.

    REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ACTIVITIES

    • Attention to detail and time management skills
    • Ability to work collaboratively as a team player
    • Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

    REQUIRED AND PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND CREDENTIALS

    • Must be a currently enrolled undergraduate student.
    • Demonstrated interest in working with data and in gaining a deeper understanding of housing and homelessness in New York City
    • Interest in learning about philanthropy and/or grantmaking
