    Descripción

    Responsibilities:

    • Oversee logistical details related to the Scholar and Next Generation Academy program activities, including monthly Family Dinners, fall field trips, and incentives for program participation.
    • Assist with maintaining Scholar/Sponsor records and database files.
    • Assist with marketing and communicating the Generation Hope Scholar Program to the community.
    • Track program participation and prepare reports as necessary.
    • Attend and take notes at the Next Generation Academy biweekly meetings.
    • Submit weekly round-up emails to all Next Generation Academy Scholars regarding upcoming events and early childhood education, events, and resources that will assist with the program's goals and objectives.
    • Support the Senior Early Childhood Manager with data collection and create dashboards for Next Generation Academy metrics.
    • Assist with the DC Programming Graduation Banquet on May 23, 2026
    • Actively participate in various events throughout the spring, such as Spring In-service/Wishlist and Field trip.
    • Attend all monthly family dinners and ensure that incentives are given to Scholars to encourage participation.
    • Attend and support the Next Generation Academy Field Trip on April 4, 2026.
    • Assist with childcare during events as needed.
    • Assist with maintaining and updating the Scholar Program and Next Generation Academy resource repository.
    • Assist with organizing the Next Generation Academy Childcare Curriculum and Home Visit Activity Plans and Materials; maintain organization of the Program team storage room.
    • Performs other tasks as assigned.

    Qualifications

    • High School Diploma required. Preference will be given to candidates with some college experience, particularly those studying Public Administration, Family Studies, Social Work, Health and Human Services, or a related field.
    • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Programs and Google Suite.
    • Strong writing skills.
    • Most importantly, the ideal candidate needs to be self-directed and able to carry through projects with little oversight in a largely remote environment.

    Physical Requirements:

    • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
    • Must be able to lift up to 10lbs at times.

    Work Environment: Normal office environment. Some work will take place off-site.

    Candidates must be able to meet the on-site work schedule by the start date.
