Summary
Art in Tanzania is a self-sustaining non-profit charity NGO. We have been engaged in community-based development work and operating sustainably since 1996.
Details
Art in Tanzania has been active since 1996. Our community placements attract approximately 250 participants each year. Our vision is to provide students with hands-on experience in developing African communities. In addition to your studies, you will have an unforgettable, once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to experience African culture, life, its stunning natural beauty, and diverse wildlife.
Many participating students and graduates are conducting research and Thesis work in Tanzania. You can perform these tasks in addition to your internship duties.
We tailor these programs to your needs, and Art in Tanzania provides support, assisting with data entry and arranging meetings to facilitate your research and thesis work.
You can find information about our programs on the Internship and Volunteering pages.
If you are interested in conducting your research-thesis work in Tanzania, please get in touch with Mr Kari Korhonen at kari@artintanzania.org to discuss planning.
Academic-level team leaders oversee your daily work. We also track your progress using a weekly planning and reporting system to ensure your success in your placement work.
