    The Coordinated Entry Intern at Partners for HOME plays a crucial role in managing and overseeing the Coordinated Entry System (CES). This position is ideal for an enthusiastic, detail-oriented individual who is passionate about equity, data management, and the organization's mission to end homelessness in Atlanta.

    Under the direction of the Project Manager of CE, the CE Intern will support various aspects of CES operations, including housing navigation, client tracking, and upholding CE guiding values of being client-centered, trauma-informed, efficient, and promoting harm reduction. This role involves tracking client progress towards housing intervention, referral coordination, data management, and working collaboratively with both internal team members and external partners.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Management: Support CES activities in collaboration with the Project Manager, Coordinated Entry.
    • Housing Navigation: Support Project Manager, Coordinated Entry with the navigation of housing support and housing interventions available to clients experiencing homelessness in the City of Atlanta.
    • Referral Tracking: Support Project Manager, Coordinated Entry with the data tracking, progress, coordination, and move-in timelines of housing referrals made for eligible clients.
    • Resource Navigation: Exploration and research of the availability and program eligibility of external resources available to clients in the Metro-Atlanta Area.
    • Training Coordination: Support the coordination of training sessions for partner agencies and active HMIS users.
    • Database Administration: Support the management and upkeep of HMIS database administration tasks, including vacancy reporting, inactive client exits, and client active status confirmation.
    • Technical Support: Provide technical support and troubleshoot technology issues.
    • Collaboration: Maintain relationships with partner agencies through meetings and collaborative efforts as needed.

    • Learning Orientation: Willingness to learn and grow in the field of Coordinated Entry, housing policy, and data management.

    Experience:

    • 1+ years of experience with data management systems is preferred.
    • 1+ years of experience in social services or a related field is desirable.

    Skills:

    • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
    • Ability to cooperate and navigate competing interests.
    • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.
    • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

    Education:

    • Actively pursuing/recently graduated with Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in any of the following fields: Social Work, Sociology, Criminal Justice, Public Administration, Public Health, Public Policy, International Affairs, Political Science, Conflict Management, Nonprofit Management, Urban Studies.
