Front Range Nesting Bald Eagle Studies

Front Range Nesting Bald Eagle Studies was founded in 2015 to research a little-studied population of bald eagles pressured by rapid urban expansion and oil and gas development. It has grown into a long-running citizen science project aimed at publication of peer-reviewed studies that fill in research gaps in the northern Front Range bald eagle population and inform critical decision-making processes related to eagle conservation.
