Washington Academy of Family Physicians

The Washington Academy of Family Physicians (WAFP) is a 501(c) (6) organization that represents physicians and residents specializing in Family Medicine and medical students. With more than 3,500 members, WAFP is the largest medical specialty organization in Washington. The Academy works to inform and support family physicians, influence the development of health care policy that will provide optimal healthcare for everyone in Washington State, and strives to promote interest in Family Medicine and supports efforts in Washington State Medical Schools and Family Medicine Residency programs to provide high quality family medicine education.

The WAFP is the Washington State chapter of the American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP).
