Amberheart Breast Cancer Foundation

Amberheart Breast Cancer Foundation is an independent charitable organization promoting, supporting and actively participating in the eradication of Breast Cancer. Through the development of educational and prophylactic programs and stewardship of resources Amberheart strives to reduce the incidence, mortality and morbidity from breast cancer. Amberheart is also involved in research and development programs. Some of Amberheart’s goals include: developing international standards for educational programs, addressed both to the medical profession and to women at large in order to create an effective prevention program; encouraging society to adopt the eradication of Breast Cancer as a priority & increasing public awareness of the importance of each and every life needlessly lost to the epidemic; ensuring that the concerns of women affected by Breast Cancer influence the decisions of researchers and health care policy makers; as well as focusing international attention on the problem of Breast Cancer increasing the awareness of the public, governments, organizations and institutions. see also Prodiatera(www.prodiatera.org)- our Polish co-organization
