MILITARY VETERANS OF GEORGIA INC

Military Veterans of Georgia's Barrow County Veterans Resource Center is a one-stop-shop for veterans needing assistance. We have a thriving food bank providing non-perishable and fresh food items. Run by veterans for veterans, the Barrow County Veterans Resource Center offers assistance with VA claims, job searches, housing, interview skills and more. We need volunteers 5 days a week who are committed to helping veterans in need. Our Peer to Peer support groups for male and female veterans offer a variety of meetings - some with activities or speakers, some just fellowship and coffee. We have trained suicide intervention volunteers and offer suicide intervention classes to first responders and other community members. Operation Atlas is our PTSD dog training program for veterans looking for a service animal or to train their own dog as a service dog. Many opportunities abound!
