As a nonprofit organization, we are a mission-based provider of healthcare, housing and support services to approximately 2,400 people every year. Waveny relies on our talented staff and hundreds of volunteers to deliver the highest quality of person-centered care every day. Our compassion is reflected in the smiles of the caregivers and those in our care, and our quality earns us industry accolades each year. The generosity of spirit we see in these connections mirrors the commitment of our donors to help us carry out this important work. Our Volunteer program provides a wide range of opportunities and flexible hours. We invest in our volunteer team providing training and mentoring to maximize the impact of the time and skills shared. We are grateful for our core team of volunteers, some of whom have been participating for decades, and we also welcome new volunteers and can incorporate what ever time you can offer.
