TROY BIKE RESCUE INC

The Troy Bike Rescue is an amazing resource that is community run and focuses on providing skills and opportunities to make things better than they were found. We engage and educate underserved youth of the community, as well as adults, on how to repair and maintain bicycles as well as sell rebuilt bikes for a very low/sliding scale cost. Some of the community members we serve are interested in reducing their carbon footprint by acquiring upcycled (pun intended) bikes for transportation, whether it be for need or for pleasure. Others simply do not have the means or opportunity to obtain a brand new bicycle. This is not to mention reducing waste by recycling and repairing bikes that otherwise would go to the landfill.
