People's Memorial Association

Founded in 1939, People's Memorial Association (PMA), is the trusted resource and thought-leader for funeral choice, education, and advocacy in Washington State. PMA envisions a future where everyone has access to after-death arrangements that reflect their personal values and resources. Through the education and advocacy efforts, PMA works to reduce unjustifiable costs of cremation, burial, and other funeral services. Over 200,000 people have joined the member group, with an estimated 75,000 living members in Washington today. Members own one of the only co-op funeral home in the nation, The Co-op Funeral Home of People's Memorial.
