Our Mission Statement: We are a spiritual retreat center in Middle Tennessee, honoring our heritage and fostering values of contemplation, silence, hospitality, rest, social justice and communion with nature; nurturing the journey inward to strengthen the journey outward.

Our Heritage Statement: To call people apart in a natural setting, to encounter in deep ways the love of God, neighbor, and self and to experience the integrity of all creation.

Penuel Ridge was founded in 1984 to provide safe, sacred space for individuals and small groups to step away from the complexities of today's world. We offer day and overnight retreat opportunities for persons to be still long enough to hear their own voice, and the voice of God, however they define it. Additionally, Penuel Ridge strives to be in solidarity with the poor, homeless, and disenfranchised through retreat opportunities and to be good stewards of the land and all that inhabit it.

Penuel Ridge values the inherent divineness in all persons and the natural world. We strive to offer sacred hospitality to all.
