The Ivy School is a public charter Montessori elementary school in Portland, Oregon. Students at Ivy engage in math, language arts, social sciences, physical sciences, Spanish language, music, art, physical education, gardening, and community service. Montessori classrooms are multi-age, allowing each student to work at their individual level and become mentors in their classroom community. The Ivy school currently has 180 students enrolled in grades 1 through 8.
Our Mission The Ivy School offers a Montessori education with Spanish-language study. Our mission is to inspire children of diverse backgrounds to be lifelong, independent learners who value responsibility and embody peace.
