Friends of The Retired and Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP)

Retired and Senior Volunteer Program's mission is to provide volunteer opportunities that adddress our areas educational,environmental, public safety and human needs. In doing so RSVP fosters civic responsibility while strengthening the ties that bind us together as people. RSVP volunteers are matched by skills and interests to over 50 not-for-profits in Suffolk County. The senior remains active and essential in their community by giving of their time and the volunteer stations reap the benefits of having experienced, committed adults who have "free" time to dedicate to their cause. Our volunteers are as diverse as RSVP's volunteer stations: from blood services, to wildlife refuges to food pantry's and a speakers bureau with 100's of other placements to chose from. There is something for everyone!
