Childcare Matters

Childcare Matters is one of the longest running, most respected daycare providers in the area, providing reliable care and age-appropriate education to Chapel Hill families since 1983. Our small, dedicated staff has the longest combined teacher tenure in Chapel Hill. Childcare Matters has low turnover rates—both for teachers and families. Our teachers measure their tenure in years, even decades. This consistency in care, coupled with small class sizes, creates a tight-knit community atmosphere. Staff foster close relationships with families, and many of our families have been with the center for years. Our Director has been there for 25 years and works closely with the families to support the staff and show appreciation for their dedication to our communities children.
