Empower Tanzania works in partnership with rural Tanzanians to improve their quality of life by addressing foundational issues that hinder resilience in rural areas including health care, education, agricultural practices, markets for products, water supply, and water quality. Our programs strive to provide effective, sustainable solutions through participatory and holistic approaches.

Registered in the US and Tanzania, Empower Tanzania is a nimble, growing organization with a substantial donor base, board involvement, programs that are poised for scale up, active volunteers, and an effective staff in the US and Tanzania. It has established an excellent reputation and is prepared for significant growth with highly effective programs that are ready to be replicated beyond their current reach. Empower Tanzania has a major presence in Same District with a 7 full-time in-country staff, including a Tanzania Director of Operations and significant Tanzanian representation on the Board of Directors.
