PACT for Animals

PACT stands for People + Animals = Companions Together. We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to supporting our nation's hospital patients and military personnel by providing free, safe, in-home foster care for their beloved pets. 

Our programs were created to help prevent owners from having to lose their best friends to an animal shelter due to an unexpected, temporary health crisis or military service. PACT began three years ago and there is still no other organization that is devoted to fostering animals for military service members and hospital patients across the country. We pride ourselves on providing customized support and carefully screened foster homes to every one of our foster placements, at no cost to the program participants.


PACT's work is essential to the people who love their pets but do not have an emergency caregiver, and it is absolutely critical to these beloved pets' lives. To be able to provide no-cost, carefully-screened foster homes to the pets of people in unexpected crises, we need your help!
