LeaderSpark, Inc.

The LeaderSpark Program is for ALL youth. Program participants have come from a range of social and economic backgrounds; from large urban high schools to small private schools; from having diverse leardership experiences to having no leadership experience. This program provides the skills necessary to participate successfully in groups and to lead school organizations, the workplace and society. We want to connect with young people who can be leaders today as well as developing leadership skills for tomorrow.

The key components of the program include:

20 hours of interactive leadership training in six to eleven session format, involving 20-40 participants Unique and practical curriculum based on awareness, practice, and application of leadership skills A focus on five leadership areas -Qualities and Styles of Leadership -Working with Groups -Planning Projects (with goals set by participants) -Dealing with Conflict -Presenting Yourself - Public Speaking and Interviewing - A network of youth leaders and supportive adults
