We at J&S Brown Urban Housing Developers for Nonprofit (J&S Brown UHD) aspire to "build, recreate, and sustain a society that is affordable and accessible for everyone, regardless of race, religion, ethnicity, class, money, or any other factor." When it comes to home ownership, land ownership, loans, and other related benefits, J&S Brown UHD is committed to providing equal opportunities to residents of not just Baltimore and Atlanta, but of other cities and states as well.

Our mission is to: (1) renovate communities for the betterment of the people residing there by collaborating with the government, and other institutions working for the common good without generating revenue for J&S Brown UHD, its members, or its partners, (2) collaborate with community members to enhance the quality of life for everyone, and, (3) obtain financial backing, grants, and contracts with the sole purpose of making the neighborhood a safe, welcoming, and peaceful place for families to live.
