We are a non-profit that was founded in response to the overwhelming adult literacy needs of the local immigrant community in Prince William County. We specialize in English as a Second Language (ESL a/k/a ELL), Citizenship preparation, workforce development, financial literacy, computer literacy, and pre-GED preparation. Though BEACON does occasionally offer private tutoring, the majority of our students participate in small group classes led by volunteer teachers. BEACON averages 350 students each year.  Classes are taught in locations convenient to our students throughout the Manassas area.
