We are the multi-cultural, inter-denominational body of Christ, unified in our belief in the sanctity of human life and called, according to His purpose, to advocate for the unborn. We each believe that we were, according to Ephesians 2:10, "created in Christ Jesus for good works which God has prepared beforehand that we might walk in them". Through our MyChoice Pregnancy Centers and Maternity Home of the Hudson Valley, Beacon of Light walks along side every individual who comes to us seeking support. We share knowledge and resources that provide life-giving solutions to their current situation, including: Pregnancy Confirmation; Ultrasound Technology, Medical consultations with Registered Nurses: including education and consultation on the available choices; parenting, adoption, and abortion (potential risks, complications and side-effects); Adoption Referrals; Limited STI Testing;Maternity Housing: for women in need of stable housing; Life Discipleship Training; Youth Education;Community Resources: such as WIC, SNAP and MICHC, and health insurance; Post Abortive Healing Program (PACE): for women seeking help and healing from a previous abortion.
