Impact Iran

Impact Iran was established in 2014 for the purposes of strengthening the capacity of civil society actors to promote responsible international responses to the situation of human rights in the Islamic Republic of Iran. To advance its mission, Impact Iran works to: improve the capacity of civil society actors to share information; strengthen the capacity of human rights defenders to engage with accountability and compliance mechanisms; promote collaborative monitoring, documentation, research or follow-up activities meant to support the work of the international human rights enforcement mechanisms; urge international human rights accountability and enforcement mechanisms to respond to pressing problems and emerging concerns through their various mandates, and raise awareness about the work of the Iran-focused work of the international human rights mechanisms.
