Established in 2011, the mission of the Erol Foundation is to invest in effective organizations and courageous leaders with the potential to move our world to a more sustainable, just, and prosperous future.
Erol’s grantmaking priorities include the following four areas:
- Climate Action - Support movement building and direct action in the US to stop the expansion of oil and gas development
- Regenerative Food Systems - Advance community-based regenerative food systems on land and sea globally.
- Methane Reduction (Special Initiative) - Leverage solutions for near-term impact
- Strategic Communications - Advance strategic climate communications
