FLIPA believes in the purpose shared across its member organizations: to serve our communities better. We connect community health centers, behavioral health organizations, and community-based organizations to develop innovative solutions to drive successful outcomes.
We’re the first organization in the region to bring together behavioral health, substance use, and primary care under a single umbrella to meet the needs of underserved populations.
By helping different types of providers coordinate to serve the whole patient, our members can deliver health care in a more integrated, productive, cost-effective way. When behavioral health organizations, substance use agencies, and FQHCs collaborate, we can all provide better, more comprehensive care. For instance, our concerted efforts can: Improve care by considering the impact of Social Determinants of Health (SDH) that are often barriers to physical and mental health for patients.
