The Legacy of Gary Rhodes Scholarship Foundation strengthens educational opportunity for Waco youth by providing scholarships, mentorship, and college-readiness support. Our mission is to empower high school students—especially those in underserved communities—to pursue higher education, develop leadership skills, and create positive change. We honor the legacy of Gary Rhodes by investing in student success, community engagement, and youth empowerment across Central Texas.

The Legacy of Gary Rhodes Scholarship Foundation is a community-focused nonprofit dedicated to supporting Waco High School students through scholarships, youth development programs, and educational resources. Founded in memory of Gary Rhodes, a lifelong mentor and advocate for young people, our organization helps students prepare for college, build confidence, and access opportunities they may not otherwise have.

We provide financial assistance for higher education, leadership and mentoring programs, community service initiatives, and youth sports engagement—supporting the whole student academically, socially, and emotionally. Our work strengthens local communities by empowering young leaders who value education, service, and personal growth.

We serve high school seniors in Waco, Texas, and partner with families, schools, and community organizations to expand access to education and positive youth development. Our commitment is to ensure every student has the opportunity to succeed, contribute, and thrive.
