Our organization is a non profit organization dedicated to helping improve social and economic conditions for all needy Sierra Leoneans especially in the Kenema District where 11 years of rebel war totally destabilized and destroyed the livelihood of a formerly stable and economically viable society. KDA was founded in 2001 in Maryland, USA. primarily based on the need to help raise awareness and be able to solicit donations in money, food and materials in order to be able to provide assistance to a people who have become victims of war and human suffering worse than all other casualties of war in the world.
