Lancaster Lebanon Intermediate Unit 13 Center for Community Education

IU13 Center for Community Education serves adult learners in Lancaster and Lebanon Counties, Pennsylvania. We educate and inspire lifelong learners, build partnerships, and unite communities to transform lives.

Since 1971, the Center for Community Education has served more than 70,000 individuals, as well as many businesses and schools. We envision self-reliant, lifelong learners who earn family sustaining wages and nurture family relationships while feeling safe, secure, and connected to their communities.

To fulfill this mission, we offer English as a Second Language (ESL) classes, High School Equivalency Test Preparation (HiSet/GED) classes, Family Literacy Classes, Workforce preparation classes, and individual and small group tutoring for students with barriers to classroom participation. All services are offered free to adult learners in our community.
