STARS is a totally unique and inspiring volunteer experience all on its own. As part of one of Siouxland’s most established non-profit organizations, you will learn and grow through the positive and powerful ways horses can transform human lives.

No matter what your role, this is a program where your involvement will make real, long-lasting change in a rewarding and satisfying setting. Your time as a volunteer will create laughter, love, accomplishment, and enrichment with everyone around you each and every time you serve. This is one experience where you will see change, and that will change you.

No horse knowledge is necessary to participate in STARS We do our best to make sure everyone is in a placement best suited to his/her needs as a volunteer. You might get to lead a horse, assist a challenged rider beside a horse, or help with horse care on a weekly basis. You might be a fabulous gardener or a whiz on the computer.

Whatever your skill or interest, we can use your help. Whatever your placement, you can be sure you will enjoy a rewarding experience.
