Operation Overwatch

At Operation Overwatch we aim to heal at both ends of the leash. Our outreach program serves veterans and first responders by providing them with Professionally Trained Service Dogs and animal assisted therapy. Operation Overwatch is a 501(c)(3) that rescues dogs from shelters across the country and trains them to be of service to warriors suffering from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder and/or Traumatic Brain Injury, as well as those needing mobility assistance.

20% of veterans who entered VA hospitals for treatment were diagnosed with PTSD last year alone— conservatively 390,000 men and women! With an estimated 22 veterans a day committing suicide, we need to act NOW. Won’t you help us in our fight to provide them the necessary tools on their path to recovery?

The waiting lists for these special dogs is 2-5 years, but we can make a difference TODAY. We work on a 10 acre parcel of land where veterans and dogs learn in indoor classrooms, a state of the art kennel area, and outdoor training facilities. Lodging is provided at NO COST to qualified participants! Our Military Working Dog Kennel-masters are doing everything to make this a destination of healing, happiness and camaraderie, and we will succeed with your help.
