About: Telecom4Good is a nonprofit telecom consulting organization focused on the needs of the Humanitarian Sector in Africa, Middle East and Southeast Asia helping NGOs collaborate with other NGOs to improve the quality and reduce pricing of internet services. Mission: Develop and maintain a self-sustaining program to help NGOs reduce their direct overhead costs associated with the research, negotiation, procurement and management of their internet services globally. Improve the quality and performance of member ISP services by using dedicated 1:1 contention Internet and lowering costs by aggregating the bandwidth and leveraging economies of scale through local partners that are globally IP peered. Aggregation of bandwidth allows for greater leverage over the local partners and negitiate discounts between 30%-55% off retail ISP pricing.
